Invasive plants sure are a pain! Want to help fight the good fight against them? Join us at our Mashel River protected area to help control Himalayan blackberry!
This 254-acre protected area includes a reach of the Mashel River that is critical habitat for Chinook salmon and steelhead trout. Removing blackberry here will allow native plants to thrive and restore the natural forest ecosystem. Interested? Contact volunteer coordinator Addie Schlussel.
