On June 18, Harlequin Productions opens Sixties Chicks Too, a musical celebration of the 1960’s greatest female singers and songwriters. This Harlequin original musical runs through July 19 at the State Theater in downtown Olympia.
The show features songs by such artists as Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, The Supremes, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, and more. “These magnificent songs traced the enormous cultural cataclysm lead by women in the 1960s,” said Harlequin Artistic Director and Director of the show, Linda Whitney. “The lineup is fabulous.
