Nature Journals and Native Plants

Nature journaling is a fun family activity and an excellent way for kids to develop an awareness and appreciation for the world around them. Come decorate your very own nature journal any time during the day and then take it outside to explore! Guided native plant walks will start on our wetland plaza at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. You’ll learn some easy identification tips for common native plants, and find out how these plants were traditionally used by local native tribes.
