Members of the Tend, Gather, Grow Project will talk about the power of food to either strengthen communities or divide them. They will show how food relates to issues of health, cultural diversity and environmental sustainability.

The presenters will include Kim Gaffi, co-founder of Garden Raised Urban Bounty (GRuB), Squaxin Island Tribal member Aleta Poste and wild food educator Elise Krohn. They will share strategies for empowering communities through food-related issues and practices, and offer samples of wild spring greens native to this area.
