Equal Pay Day Panel

The Woman’s Club of Olympia is hosting a speakers panel and forum on the topic of “equal pay.” On average, a woman earned in all of 2018 plus January to April 2nd of 2019 the same as, on average, a man earned in January to December of 2018. Speakers are Jane Field, Former Commissioner Jennifer Belcher, Professor Savvina Chowdhury, Traci Hansen, and Christine Malek. Sponsoring organizations are the Woman’s Club of Olympia, National Organization for Women, League of Women Voters, American Association of University Women, American Business Women’s Association, Enterprise for Equity, and Thurston Economic Development Center’s Washington Center for Women in Business. All are welcome.
