Are you prepared for an emergency?

In the event of an earthquake, flood or fire, your reality could shift radically in a heartbeat. Would you know what to do?

Thurston County Emergency Management will be at the Tumwater Timberland Library on Saturday, June 29 from 1 to 2 p.m. to present a workshop built upon the “3 Days, 3 Ways” concept of preparation for emergencies: Have a Plan, Have a Kit, Get Involved.

This event is part of the Tumwater Timberland Library’s summer series of programs for adults relating to the theme of “Groundbreaking Reads.” The library is located at 7023 New Market Street. For more information, contact the library at (360) 943-7790 or visit www.TRL.org.
