TK & the Holy Know-Nothings is a band mixing country/soul and psychedelia; half-dutifully and half-facetiously self-dubbed “psychedelic doom boogie”. They are currently tearing up the US on a national tour playing songs laden with deep, soulful, heavy grooves, superb leads and perfectly placed, melodic lyrics weaving vivid stories. TK & the Holy Know-Nothings are: Taylor Kingman, guitar, vocals; drummer Tyler Thompson, multi-instrumentalists Jay Cobb Anderson (lead guitar, harmonica), Lewi Longmire (bass, guitar, pedal steel, flugelhorn, mellotron, lap steel) and Sydney Nash (keys, bass, slide guitar, cornet).
“At our core, we are working musicians. And that’s why we will always be a bar band no matter where we play. We are players and that’s all we wanna do. We live for songs and we take them very seriously. Even the stupidest ones. It’s all sacred and that’s why it should be mangled by children.” – Vocalist; Taylor Kingman
Outer Orbit is a funk soul collective led by Galen Clark (Subtonic, Sleater-Kinney) and fronted by vocalist Sarah Clarke (Con Brio, Dirty Revival). The band features an all star lineup of Tyrone Hendrix (Prince, Allen Stone), Damian Erskine (Skerik Band), Peter Knudsen (Ghost-note, Mono Neon) and Mike Elson (Swatkins, Blitzen Trapper). Outer Orbit brings original burning soul and pocket heavy funk while drawing on a range of influences from Sly Stone and The Meters to Aretha Franklin and Emily King.
