Join Disabled Hikers in Olympia for an accessible hike at McLane Creek Nature Trail.
Trail Description: There is an option for a 1.1 mile loop or a 0.6 mile loop. The trail is partially ADA accessible on boardwalks and crushed gravel – much of the boardwalk has been covered in skid resistant tread. It is level with a max gradual elevation gain of 50 feet on the longer route. There are many benches and viewpoints along the way.
Disabled Hikers is an inclusive organization by and for people with disabilities. We welcome anyone who needs a group of supportive, slow moving hikers. The group hikes together; we match the pace of the ‘slowest’ hiker, rest when needed, and make decisions about the trail as a group.
