The treasure in Downtown Olympia that is Basilico Ristorante Italiano is a favorite of many. Join owner Arlindo Campello and Head Chef Jennifer Nelson as they share some of their fabulous recipes with you for an unforgettable evening. Chef Jennifer presents Calamari Affogati, fresh calamari sautéed in garlic and white wine simmered in a spicy tomato broth with fresh herbs, Merluzzo all’ Umido, fresh Pacific Wild Cod seared in extra-virgin olive oil then poached in white wine with a blend of olives, pine nuts and capers, served on a bed of Sauteed Fresh Spinach. Pannacotta con Frutti di Bosco, a popular cooked cream dessert, topped with seasonal mixed berries, concludes the evening on a sweet note. Class will be held at the BSC Kitchen in Olympia.
