Co-op Principles in Action, with Joanna LaTorre

One way cooperatives are unique from other business structures is that they adhere to a set of International Cooperative Principles that have to do with member participation, concern for community, cooperation among cooperatives, and more. Joanna LaTorre will show how cooperatives in our community are putting these principles to work. LaTorre is an active member at the Olympia Food Co-op and serves on the organization’s steering and personnel committees. This event is a collaboration between the Olympia Food Co-op and the Olympia Timberland Library.
