CIELO’s Day of the Dead Event

On October 29, 2016, CIELO will be hosting our annual Dia de Los Muertos fundraiser to support our community educational programs. This year the event will be held at the South Puget Sound Community College’s Main Campus in the Student Union building. Day of the Dead is a deeply rooted tradition of Latin culture. The Day of the Dead is a celebration of the circle of life and reconnects us by remembering the lives of those we have lost. The event features a traditional Mexican altar, Latin food, music, dancing, performances, face painting and colorful decorations. This year it is really special, as we are also celebrating CIELO’s 20th anniversary! This will also have a day event for kids and an evening event for adults!
