Experience Olympia & Beyond, the official destination marketing organization of Thurston County and Thurston County’s Sports Commission, is thrilled to announce their next Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) training session scheduled for Feb. 15, 2024. The CTA program, also known as Thurston Tourism Ambassadors, is designed to empower community residents with the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service to visitors whom they encounter. The program also ensures residents understand their important role in increasing tourism within Thurston County, gaining insight into what to do, see and promote in the region.
What: Certified Tourism Ambassador Training
When: Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: Best Western Plus, Tumwater: 5188 Capitol Blvd SE, Tumwater, WA 98501
Who: All are welcome who call Thurston County home
Registration: This nationally-recognized certification is $45, paid prior to attending.
