Vikki Tobak will discuss her book, Contact High: A Visual History of Hip-Hop on March 1 in Harned Hall room 110 from 1:00-2:30. Harned Hall room 110 has limited capacity, so seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Tobak is an experienced journalist, author, and producer and her book is considered unique and fascinating. She will be joined by Hassan Kirkland M.F.A., artist and curator of Seattle’s Northwest African American museum and Shawna Hawk M.A., of Media Island International and KOWA Community Radio.
