Thurston County 4-H Council is hosting the Annual 4-H Achievement Celebration on Sunday, November 8, 2015. 4-H members will be recognized for their accomplishments with special award presentations for outstanding achievement. In addition members, families, and friends will honor the 4-H Leader of the Year, 4-H Family of the Year, and the recipient of the Zoe Cook Scholarship.

This year a special presentation is being made to the Washington state Middle School Prudential Spirit of Community Award Honoree, Fiona Cowell. She traveled to Washington DC in May to be recognized in a national ceremony, and will receive her Award Medal at Sunday’s event.

The Achievement Celebration is scheduled from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, at Heritage Hall on the Thurston County Fairgrounds.

Thurston County 4-H is a youth development program offered cooperatively through Washington State University Extension and Thurston County government. For more information contact the Thurston County 4-H Office, 5033 Harrison Ave NW, Olympia, or call 360-867-2157.
