Take a field trip to your own community animal shelter on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Animal Services will be participating in Pawsitive Alliance’s Second Annual Statewide Shelter Open House Event!
This unique event spotlights animal shelters across Washington State and the homeless animals in their care.
Animal Services’ adoption fees (regardless of the animal’s age, breed or size) are $81 for dogs and $64 for cats. The adoption cost covers the spay/neuter surgery, basic immunizations, microchip, worming, in-jurisdiction license and feline leukemia screening for cats.
More than a dozen shelters across the state will be participating this year. The Pawsitive Alliance website, www.pawsitivealliance.org, has a list of additional participating shelters.
