Produced by the Olympia Amateur Radio Society, Field Day is the largest world-wide radio event each year. Based on emergency communications concepts, 4 radio stations with antennas are built then operate for 24 hours begin on 11 am Saturday June 22. Stations include state of the art software defined radios with StepIR antenna, emergency power, a satellite station on Saturday afternoon, and 6 meter vhf. Field day is open to the public. Come and observe or join the fun by getting on the air.
