Alaffia Bike Drive

We are partnering with Ralph’s Thriftway to collect used adult bikes for students in Togo where 90% of girls and 80% of boys dropout before completing high school (UNICEF, 2016). Many students must walk 10-15 miles to attend school each day, making it difficult to fulfill family responsibilities, complete homework, and study. The Alaffia Bicycles for Education project collects and distributes bicycles to students in Togo, making it possible for them to pursue an education. Over 95% of Bicycles for Education participants graduate

Please bring adult bikes only. Bike donations are tax-deductible. We also need extra bike seats, spare tires, helmets, and donations for shipping costs.
