The Evergreen State College volleyball team is ranked 10th in the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Preseason Poll. Corban University holds the top spot in the poll with five of 11 first place votes and 108 total points.
In 2024, the Geoducks were 4-18 in the CCC and a 4-22 overall. Head Coach Carissa Bounds is entering her third season with the Evergreen volleyball team.
The Geoducks will begin the 2025 regular season on August 22-23 at the Big Sky Challenge, hosted by Montana Tech in Butte, Montana. Evergreen will take on Montana Tech and Taylor University (Ind.) on Friday, Aug. 22. The Geoducks will play University of Providence (Mont.) and Carroll College (Mont.) on Saturday, Aug. 23.
Following Corban in the CCC Preseason Poll was Eastern Oregon University in second with three first place votes and 101 points. Southern Oregon University was third in the poll with two first place votes and 98 points. College of Idaho was ranked fourth with one first place vote and 90 points.
Bushnell University was fifth with 67 points, just one point in front of Lewis-Clark State College in sixth with 66 points. Oregon Tech was seventh at 61 points and Walla Walla University was eighth with 48 points. Northwest University was listed ninth with 37 points, Evergreen was 10th with 20 points, and Warner Pacific University was 11th with 11 points.
Sophia Scroggins (Jr.), who led the Geoducks in 2024 with 1.94 kills per set and ranked second on the team with 169 kills, returns for Evergreen. Also returning is Ashley Walker Campbell (Sr.), who was third on the roster with 148 kills and 1.61 kills per set last year.
