Stone City Event Center was co-founded by Perry & Sue Shea, Katie Stann, and Bryce Hughes, and opened its doors in Spring 2025. “Stone City Event Center was built to bring people together through meaningful experiences,” says Stann. ‘Whether it’s a live concert, a team-building workshop or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, our space combines modern amenities with small-town charm.”
The facility can accommodate up to 750 guests outdoors or 264 indoors, depending on the layout and event type. Stann says that it’s a versatile and welcoming space, ideal for a variety of activities.
“Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate retreat, workshop or celebration,” says Stann, “the space combines modern amenities with small-town charm. With flexible floor plans, high-end AV capabilities and a beautiful indoor-outdoor flow – including a covered pavilion – it’s the perfect backdrop for events of all kinds.”
More Than Just Room Rental, Stone City Event Center Offers Five Star Amenities
Beyond just modern design, Stone City Event Center provides logistical options to make your gathering shine while keeping workloads manageable. There is a built-in sound system with microphones as well as options for lighting, screens and projectors.
With ample parking outdoors and ADA accessible restrooms indoors, everyone is welcome whatever the weather. Want to skip the grunt work all together and focus on things that are more fun? Check out their optional on-site catering with full bar service as well as set-up and cleaning services.
In-house catering is provided by Simply Organic Café & Catering with their collection of unique burgers, sandwiches, salads and decadent desserts. The Center also holds a full liquor license and their licensed staff can provide custom bar service. No outside alcohol is allowed.
Stann and staff are happy to develop custom collaborative, promotional packages with other Ag Park neighbors. They make it easy to celebrate a hot fourth quarter with HOTBABE—HOTSAUCE or host a farm-to-table extravaganza with Colvin Ranch.

Stann is happy to help with both public and private event planning, catering or other needs. A signed rental agreement and deposit are required to secure your selected date and all decorations must be pre-approved without nails, staples or adhesives which can damage walls and surfaces.
