In a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at better supporting the youth of Tumwater, two prominent nonprofit organizations, TOGETHER! and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington (BBBS), are pleased to announce their BIG Swing TOGETHER Fore Kids partnership for TOGETHER!’s 7th annual golf tournament. This collaborative newly rebranded event will bring together golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and philanthropists to raise funds that will directly impact students and young people in the Tumwater community.
TOGETHER!, which has been hosting its popular annual golf tournament for six years, has always used the event as a way to raise vital funds to support student needs in Tumwater School District, from eyeglasses and sports physicals to safe housing and other basic needs through their Tumwater Community Schools program. This year, TOGETHER! has partnered with BBBS, an organization with a longstanding commitment to empowering youth through mentorship, to support their impactful mentoring services for Tumwater youth. Through this collaboration, proceeds from the event will be shared between the two organizations, to help meet critical student needs in Tumwater.

By combining our efforts, we can ensure that the funds raised will not only provide students with the resources they need to thrive academically but also equip them with the mentorship and support that will help them succeed beyond the classroom.”

The BIG Swing TOGETHER Fore Kids Tournament will take place on Thursday August 21 at Tumwater Valley Golf Course in Tumwater. Registration is now open for golfers, sponsors, and volunteers who want to get involved and make a difference. The event promises a day of great golf, community camaraderie, and impactful fundraising, with exciting prizes, activities, and opportunities to connect with others passionate about supporting our community’s youth.
