More than Just Floors at SPF Construction

Western Washington-based SPF Construction owner Pavel Siumbeli understands that installing new flooring means working with baseboards, existing cabinetry, fixtures like tubs or toilets and much more. So, he adapted to the need, became a one-stop-shop and knowledgeably walks customers through whatever their project entails.

SPF Construction Can Tackle All of Your Home Projects

Siumbeli didn’t initially plan on offering complementary services but was smart enough to pivot when the idea arose. “I haven’t always offered them,” he says, “but as business grew and I noticed continued needs and requests from customers, I learned how to do different jobs and started offering them as either freestanding or add-on options.”

Business coaches say that to succeed, “the ability to pivot, innovate, and stay resilient during challenging times is what separates successful businesses from the rest.” They recommend that small business owners “embrace change as an opportunity for growth rather than a setback” because “relying solely on one source of income can leave a business vulnerable. Diversifying revenue streams can help buffer the impact of disruptions.” Exactly what Siumbeli has done.

Indoors and Out, Floor to Ceiling, SPF Construction has You Covered

While much of his team’s work still revolves around flooring, SPF Construction can now help in a variety of ways. “Sometimes a stretch of time is mostly tiling work and bathroom remodels,” explains Siumbeli, “and sometimes a lot of exterior work such as siding repairs and house painting. Sometimes it’s millwork and sometimes it’s floors. It really is a mix of things that I do, and things change with the seasons.”

And customers are welcome to discuss any and all projects, not just those which center on flooring. Siumbeli is happy to talk through millwork, tile, flooring, interior and exterior painting and commercial or residential jobs as needed.

With his extensive experience and free estimates, these discussions are highly informative. Does your home need to be baby proofed with durable flooring and paint? Need carpet padding for extra insulation or sound dampening? Looking to refresh the interiors before you sell or in a home you recently purchased? Big job or small, SPF Construction is ready to go.

More than a Makeover, SPF Construction Enhances Your Home’s Value

Investing in your home is a win/win. For a start, you and your family will enjoy the fresh, reinvigorated living spaces. But should you decide to sell down the line, many home renovations just about pay for themselves. A minor kitchen remodel can recover nearly 86% of its cost and a bathroom remodel brings in almost 67%.

And today’s technologically advanced flooring products, for example, are often water-, slip- and scratch-proof, durable and energy efficient. Siumbeli recently installed carpet tile, commercial luxury vinyl plank flooring (LVP) and baseboards in a dental clinic. The carpet tile, TAS Development: Iron Ore, for example, is easy to clean, moisture resistant and uniquely styled. This was paired with TAS Concord Mead LVP, which is highly durable and waterproof, while maintaining an authentic woodgrain look.

In a residential setting, SPF tackled a stunning bathroom remodel. The client selected the tile, colors, patterns and all trims and Siumbeli’s team handled the install plus adding a freestanding soaker tub and all necessary plumbing trim. They can even manage the awkward twists, turns and geometry of staircases and steps.
