For 21 years, Bron’s Automotive has been providing top-notch service and quality maintenance for the Olympia community. They are excited to announce they are moving to a brand-new location at 2021 Harrison Avenue where they will be adding tire services to their menu of automotive care. Bron’s Automotive is still operating out of their current location while the new building undergoes extensive renovations to bring the space to life. Stay tuned for their official opening coming up this fall, including a ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for August 10.
Quality Olympia Auto Service and Efficient Maintenance in a New Space
Bron’s Automotive first opened in the early 2000s with a foundation in community and quality. In 2015, Joey Crider joined the team and later took over ownership in 2018. “Bron set such a good foundation, and he and I operate in a very similar fashion as far as business goes,” explains Joey. “We have been running everything status quo to carry on Bron’s legacy by helping customers. It has been great to still have his influence in the business.”
In early 2023 an opportunity to purchase a larger building on a busy street less than a mile away from their current location became available, and Joey knew the opportunity was one he couldn’t pass up. The current location proved challenging with limited parking, especially with the shifts in the supply chain. “Broken cars were sitting here much longer taking up space waiting for parts, which was difficult on our neighbors,” Joey says. “Now we will have our own parking lot and have the space to really do our own thing.”
Bron’s Automotive is currently in the midst of thorough remodeling to revitalize this space to provide even better customer service.
As a locally-owned, family-operated business, Bron’s Automotive believes in treating their employees well and intends to create a positive work/life balance for each staff person. “Part of that is mental health and giving them those weekends off, to be with their families” shares Joey. “We observe most major holidays, though we know things happen year-round and strive to be here to serve our clients when they need us.” With a great working environment, industry leaders can utilize their expertise and share their commitment to excellence with customers in the community through Bron’s Automotive.
Thurston County Tire and Wheel Services Coming Soon
One of the other major advantages of the new location is the abundance of space in the shop. With the expansion, Bron’s Automotive is adding tire and wheel services to their operations to create the perfect one-stop-shop for your automotive needs. Joey and many of the other automotive technicians at Bron’s Automotive come from a background in tire installation, service, and repairs of tires, but have been limited by the square footage of their current shop.
“We had the experience but didn’t have the space to bring in the equipment necessary to do this kind of work,” shares Joey. “Now with the added space, we have decided to get into this side of the industry and offer tire services and more to our clientele.”
In addition to tire sales and installation, Bron’s Automotive will be going the extra mile by providing wheel alignments, and rotation and balancing, which help prolong the life of your tires. “It is so critical in today’s vehicles to get a wheel alignment every six months,” explains Joey. “A lot of tire shops do not offer this service, and it is critical to ensure the alignment is set before driving on your new tires.”
Bron’s Automotive makes the most of your tire investment by performing a wheel alignment, balancing the tires, and rotating them regularly so you can keep them longer and minimize your car’s lifetime expenses. Joey is excited to be able to offer it in-house so they can control the quality and ensure the work is done right every time.
With a tire inventory and servicing being added, flat tires will now be easily fixed and replaced at the new Bron’s Automotive location. It can be a challenge to get in quickly to get this type of repair done, but Bron’s Automotive will be ready and available for same-day turnaround on flat tires once they are in their new space.
While you’re there, they can check tire pressure and analyze the system lights when they come on. “It’s hard to get those taken care of a lot of times because it requires programming,” Joey shares. “Often times customers are referred to dealerships to handle a TPMS light, it is inconvenient and sometimes dealerships are booked out for weeks. We will be able to take care of those lights as well.” With these new services, Joey and the Bron’s Automotive team are looking forward to being another option for people to get things taken care of in a timely fashion at an affordable price.
