The City of Lacey invites the community to its 53rd Annual Fireworks Spectacular on Wednesday, July 3, from 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at Rainier Vista Community Park, 5475 45th Avenue SE.

The free, family-friendly event features live music­­, kids’ activities, and a fireworks display set to music. New this year, attendees can visit the information booth to get a free pair of 3D glasses, sponsored by Lacey Collision Center, to watch the fireworks – while supplies last. Attendees can also purchase food from a variety of on-site vendors.

Full Metal Racket, the 133rd Army Band, will play in the park from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Heart by Heart, Heart tribute band, will perform from 8:00 p.m. – 9:45 p.m., featuring some of the original Heart band members.

Event attendees can park free on-site starting at 3:00 p.m., however, space is limited, and no RVs or trailers are allowed. People are encourage to walk or bike to the park. Additional parking is available at local-area schools including Aspire, Timberline, Lakes, and Komachin. Following the fireworks, Intercity Transit will provide free rides from Rainier Vista Community Park to Timberline High School, Komachin Middle School and Lakes Elementary. In addition, you can check bikes, strollers, and wagons into a secure area at the park.

TwinStar Credit Union, South Sound Center, and the City of Lacey, sponsor the free community event.
