Olympia’s culinary scene is making the news! The Seattle Times recently crowned Olympia as having “destination” eats … “worthy of a drive” south stating “downtown [Olympia] is growing its culinary reputation and is the hub of the booming restaurant scene.”

Q13 News recently televised that the state’s capital is starting to earn a reputation for its incredible food selection downtown stating, “Downtown Olympia might be around the corner from the legislation building, but there’s nothing divisive about it: the state’s capital is growing its culinary reputation.”

According to Thrillist.com, Olympia is a seafood paradise that “reflects the field-to-fork ethos of Seattle and the cart-based creativity of Portland without the big-city price tags.”

On Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. the community is invited to attend Sip, Savor, Stroll, an exclusive progressive dinner where attendees will meet Olympia’s favorite chefs, brewers and restaurant owners and will get a peek behind the curtain into the Olympia culinary scene, during the traditional “service break” between lunch and dinner rushes.

We only have 225 tickets available, so we encourage everyone to order early as we sold out last year! Tickets are $55 each and are available online here.

Participating restaurants include Bittersweet Chocolates, Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar, Dillinger’s Cocktails & Kitchen, Fishtail Brewing, Hawley’s Gelato & Coffee, Pizzeria La Gitana, Sofie’s Scoops Gelateria, The Mouse Trap, Three Magnets Brewing Co., Tipsy Piano Bar, and Well 80 Brewhouse.
