In honor of National Travel & Tourism Week, Experience Olympia & Beyond invites you to share your love for this place by leaving a message on the new “Why We Love Thurston” hotline.
“We are living out one of our organization’s key values to celebrate all that is good in the community,” said CEO Shauna Stewart from Experience Olympia & Beyond. “Passionate people are what makes this place remarkable. We are interested in hearing personal stories and genuine experiences from locals to help us celebrate.”
The hotline launches today for National Travel & Tourism Week (May 5-10, 2019), but the hotline will be open through June 30. Locals can call in anytime and share why they love Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Yelm, Tenino, Bucoda, Grand Mound, Rainier, Rochester or all of Thurston County. By sharing your love for the community on the hotline, your voice and words may be used on promotional video content, advertising, social media and ExperienceOlympia.com.
“Visitors are looking for authentic voices and want to hear from locals,” said Stewart. “We are proud of the community we live in and want to provide the opportunity for locals to share why they choose this region. So locals, share your love and tell us why this region is so remarkable.”
To call the “Why We Love Thurston” hotline, dial (360) 763-5656 any time until June 30. The hotline can be anonymous, or you’re welcome to leave your name and community you live in.
