Meeting the needs of the growing community, Providence Medical Group in Southwest Washington has added a third immediate care clinic in Thurston County, as Hawks Prairie Immediate Care opened November 5 in the Britton Plaza location, 2555 Marvin Road NE (which currently houses Hawks Prairie Family Medicine and Hawks Prairie Internal Medicine).

Both the West Olympia and Lacey immediate care clinics see about 50-60 patients each day, and have seen as many as 100 in a day during the recent flu season. The Hawks Prairie clinic has capacity to do the same. The new clinic has about 25 caregivers, including six providers.
CAT scans and other services available
Included in the services available at the Hawks Prairie facility, are the advanced diagnostic imaging equipment such as a Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) scanner.
“This will allow easier access to diagnostic imaging services outside the hospital setting,” said Coluccio. “This entire project continues our commitment to provide high-quality health care – close to home – for our community.”
The immediate care clinic can treat a multitude of minor illnesses and injuries. Other services include:
- On-site lab
- EKG
- IV hydration and antibiotics
- X-ray

Endocrinology, South Sound Internal Medicine have moved
To make room for the immediate care clinic, Olympia Endocrinology has moved from Hawks Prairie to 3425 Ensign Road NE Suite 220, the former home of Providence Medical Group South Sound Internal Medicine, which has moved to 525 Lilly Road NE Suite 250, to join with Providence Medical Group East Olympia Family Medicine. The two practices combined to form Providence Medical Group East Olympia Family and Internal Medicine.
