Hope Island Marine State Park is located in the greater Olympia-Shelton-Hoodsport area offering marine and remote camping on the island’s 132 acres.
Located just north of Steamboat Island in the Squaxin Passage, the island can only be reached by watercraft.
Beach walking and hiking trails allow for sightings of land-based wildlife. Day picnickers can enjoy their food in a historic orchard of fruit and nut trees planted by early homesteaders a century ago.
Tie your boat at a mooring buoy and/or choose a primitive campsite and stay overnight.
