Lacey Fireworks Spectacular and Freedom Concert.

BBQ, Bands, and Boomin’ Fun is the theme this year. Families are encouraged to bring their own picnics or enjoy a savory barbecue, burgers, hot dogs, sweets, and more from a variety of food vendors. Live music is included in the festivities with Joy in Mudville playing heartfelt Americana music beginning at 5:00 p.m., followed by the high-energy SWAY covering the latest hits starting at 8:00 p.m.  The Fireworks Spectacular launches at 10:00 p.m.

Admission and parking are free, as are many family-friendly activity booths. A $10 wristband will be available for children to enjoy the inflatable slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses and more in the KidzZone.

Limited on-site parking opens at 3:00 p.m. and no RVs or trailers allowed. Additional parking is available at local business areas and schools including Aspire Middle School, Timberline High School, Lakes Elementary, and Komachin Middle School. Bikes, strollers, and wagons can be checked into a secure “bike corral” at the park. Complete details regarding traffic detours and parking can be found on the city’s official website.
