On Thursday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m., we gather to celebrate our young women who represent Capital Lakefair throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Capital Lakefair and the royalty court give back to the community each year. They participate in a variety of events. They assist with the Hands On Children’s Museum, The Little Red Schoolhouse Project, Olympia’s Pie Fest, Special Library readings, and Thurston County’s Lifeskills Prom. They travel to many festivals and events in Washington, Oregon and Canada. They visit with many of the local service clubs to share their platform and what is important to each of them as future leaders in our community.
Come see and meet the girls who represent our local high schools at this year’s Lakefair Royalty night and celebrate all of their accomplishments with them. This year’s royalty are:
- Queen Margaret Doyle from Capital HS
- Princess Ava Brackenbury from Olympia HS
- Princess Elizabeth Hirotaka from Black Hills HS
- Princess Malinda Lyon from Avanti HS
- Princess Jayla Simmons from North Thurston HS
