Western Steel & Supply, Inc., South Sound Solar, Inc., Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. and USDA Rural Energy, invite you to celebrate the installation completion of Western Steel & Supply’s recently installed 9.9kW solar system in Aberdeen, WA. The ribbon cutting event is open to the public and will be held Tuesday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m., at their 155 N. Willow Street facility.
Government attendees and speakers include 19th District Representative Brian Blake, Mayor of Aberdeen, Erik Larson and representatives from the Port of Grays Harbor, including Commissioner Jack Thompson.

South Sound Solar, Inc. recently installed their solar system, which includes 36-Itek Energy, Made-in-WA modules and inverters. Choosing Washington made products qualifies Western Steel & Supply for the largest production incentive payment from their utility, maxed out at approximately $5,000 per year.
Other production incentives and benefits that Western Steel will receive are a sales tax waiver (under 10kW), a 30% tax credit, electrical bill savings AND accelerated depreciation.
They applied for a 25% grant from the USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program (REAP Grant), which was approved in the 11/2/15 grant cycle and will be awarded after 30 days of operation.
Join us to celebrate and to also hear important information about how you can support State of WA solar legislation under review this legislative session (HB 2346).
For information on your small business (or residential) solar potential, how you can take advantage of solar’s true return on investment, or how to apply for a USDA Rural Energy Grant (Next deadeline is 5/2/16), please email info@southsoundsolar.com.
