It’s time to make reservations for Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations at Westport Winery.
The winery is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., which includes Benedictine Quiche (chock full of Cougar Gold cheese) with Tarragon Aioli, Tomato Basil with Italian Sausage Soup, our Homemade Oatmeal Rolls with Freezer Jam, Hot Coffee or Tea, and Mimosas that blend our award-winning sparkling wines with freshly-squeezed orange juice. The price of this brunch is $17 per person. We are happy to make substitutions or guests may also order from the regular lunch menu.
A mystery dinner theater is offered for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 14 at 6 p.m. This pirate-themed play is called Dead Man’s Chest and is $35 per person. The menu includes Far Seas French Bread, Commander’s Palace Green Salad, your choice of Mermaids on Horseback (Bacon Wrapped Prawns with Pineapple Horseradish Glaze) or Beef Washington (Filet Mignon with Sautéed Onions and wrapped in Puff Pastry) with Golden Coins, and Dread Pirate Roberts’ Double Baked Potato, complete with Buried Treasure Trifle for dessert. If you would like to participate as a member of the “cast” email carrie@westportwinery.com for character information.
You may also want to consider joining the Backstage Winemaker’s Tour with Director of Winemaking, Dana Roberts. This tour is offered every Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.
Reservations are required for both Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations and can be made by calling 360-648-2224.
