“Frozen” Author Barbara Jean Hicks to Party with Kids at Miss Moffett’s Mystical Cupcakes

Miss Moffett’s Mystical Cupcakes in Olympia will host an event with children’s author Barbara Jean Hicks on Sunday, February 23 from 1-3pm to celebrate the release of her newest books in the Disney Frozen Series: Frozen, a Sister More Like Me and Frozen: An Amazing Snowman. The family-friendly afternoon will include story times and a book signing with the author. Specially designed cupcakes will be available for purchase, as well as the Frozen Series books, provided by Orca Books.

According to Victoria Cunningham,  cupcake magician for the store, the event will be a party fit for princes, princesses and snowmen in the community. “It’s February,” said Cunningham. “What better time to enjoy a wintry theme, regardless of the temperature outside?  Frozen is a movie that delights all ages, and Barbara Jean Hicks has added a new dimension to the story with these delightful books.”  Costumes are encouraged, and the author will be available for photo opportunities and book signing.
