OLYMPIA – Trick or treaters who come to downtown Olympia on Halloween 3:00-6:00 P.M. will find more than treats. The downtown businesses participating in “Halloween in Downtown Olympia” will offer treats plus the chance to win a treasure chest full of prizes and gift certificates that evening.

A superhero mask will be hidden in each participating location. Once a trick or treater finds it, they will be issued an entry form for the treasure chest drawing to be held at 6:15 P.M. at Wind Up Here (corner of 5th and Washington). There will be a costume contest starting at 6:45 P.M. at the Bike Stand.

For a list of participating locations, see http://halloween.everydayolympia.com, which also has contest rules and further details.

Sponsors include Wind Up Here, Schilter Family Farm, It’s Your Olympia/PBIA, the Winter Eichler Group, and Mixx 96.1.
