Westport Winery won two medals at the recent 2012 International Women’s Wine Competition in Santa Rosa, California. There were 860 entries in this competition hosted by Vineyard & Winery Management magazine.
Peaches on the Beaches, Westport’s inspiring peach Riesling earned a Silver medal. This wine benefits the Grays Harbor Breast Cancer Alliance’s efforts to purchase a stereotactic biopsy machine for the community. Westport Winery’s 2010 Boom Runner reserve Merlot earned a bronze medal at this event. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this wine benefits the Polson Museum in Hoquiam. These wines are available for tasting daily.
