If you need some relief from the summer’s heat, stop by the Old Town Center in Tumwater at 215 North 2nd Ave SE which is across from the old brewery on the corner of Custer and 2nd Avenue. It operates as an active senior and teen center throughout the day and evening but the public is welcome to come in and take a break from the summer’s heat. Open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 7:30pm and Friday 8am to 10:30pm.
