The Lacey Chamber of Commerce has named Tony Salas as its new executive director.
Lacey Chamber President Jerry Farmer made the announcement at the chamber’s monthly forum on Wednesday.
Salas is employed by CompuPay and previously worked for Anchor Bank. He is a member of the Lacey Chamber’s Board of Directors.
In making the appointment Farmer said “Tony had the best combination of qualities the board thought would serve the chamber well. He has a varied background in management and finance and has been an incredible volunteer for the Lacey Chamber.”
Salas will take over on July 1. He replaces interim executive director Mike Beehler. The position was advertised as paying in the $48,000 range.
