What’s Up with the Steh-Chass

This is the second “What’s Up” event DERT has held.  We will learn the history of the Steh-Chass, the indigenous name for Budd Inlet and the lower Deschutes watereshed.  We will hear how cliimate change impacts the Tribal culture.  And we will get an update on the Festival of the Steh-Chass to be held September 1st at Heritage Park.  We will also get updated on the Environmental Impact Statement process currently underway to determine the best option for “management” of the estuary/lake area.
