What is Trauma Informed Care?

Trauma Informed Care (TIC) is a way of holistically supporting people who have experienced trauma in any form. TIC is an evidence based best practice that focuses on the whole person within the context of their environment. Learning more about what trauma is, and what trauma does to the brain can help community members make sense of behaviors that may seem hard to understand.
