A new, privately funded exhibit from the Office of the Secretary of State opens on the 125th anniversary of statehood. Washington 1889, a public exhibit, highlights the big stories in Washington’s seminal year. It will feature an original 42-star flag, artifacts from the Great Seattle Fire, and for ONE DAY ONLY the original state constitution and telegrams announcing statehood. We hope you can join us!
