The Crisis Clinic holds its 60 hour Volunteer phone-worker training 4 times a year. The training is designed to enable trainees to build effective active listening skills and increase their ability to empathize and relate well to a diverse population of callers. Trainees will develop skills in self-management and become competent at offering useful referrals to callers. For decades the Crisis Clinic training has offered an opportunity for people to directly help other people.
Community Training: October 7th-9th – Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday
