Turning Pointe Girl’s Night: The Power of the Purse

“Last year’s Power of the Purse was incredible! We raised more awareness and funding for survivors than ever before.  YOU can make a difference when you attend this event, so come and celebrate the success of survivors with us,” said Cathcart.

The 2015 event raised over $15,000 for the shelter and their services. This was achieved, primarily, through the silent and live auction, paddle raises and the wine pull. Tickets to the event are $25 and includes a complimentary cocktail and hearty appetizers.

All proceeds from this event will benefit Turning Pointe and their programs, which have recently been expanded to include services for victims of sexual assault. Turning Pointe was selected by the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy to provide these expanded services in order to better serve both domestic violence and sexual assault victims as well as their children in Mason County and surrounding communities.
