TUMWATER DOG DAYS Celebrating Humanity’s Best Friend

Through a partnership with our Presenting Sponsor TwinStar Credit Union, the City of Tumwater Parks and Recreation Department is paws-itively overjoyed to present the 3rd Annual Tumwater Dog Days. The event will take place on Saturday, June 14. 

Dog Days celebrates the companionship between humans and our furry friends. They are our protectors, service providers, and companions – and we’ve set aside a day just for them! Come join us in celebrating “Humanity’s Best Friend” as we kick off the summer season with Dog Days in Pioneer Park. 

A variety of activities will be offered, including the TwinStar Trails ‘n’ Tails Loop with treat stops; pup play zones; dog costume and dog/owner look-alike contests; and demonstrations from Puget Hounds Fly Ball, Thurston County Muttz-K-Teers Dog 4-H Club, and the Tumwater Police Department K9. Have your pet’s photo taken or a caricature drawn, or have your face painted with a dog-themed design. Weather permitting, TwinStar’s own Dollar Dog will stop in at the event as well! In addition to the scheduled activities, attendees may visit various community booths and grab a beverage or bite to eat from one of the five on-site food vendors.
