A presentation on the life and music of Elliott Smith by William Todd Schultz, author of “Torment Saint: The Life of Elliott Smith.” Via rare audio recordings and early versions of lyrics, Schultz will focus on one especially potent Smith song, “King’s Crossing,” and show how it evolved into its final form.
