Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to introduce girls to careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). EYH Thurston County runs a half-day annual conference with hands-on workshops for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls lead by women professionals in those fields. The ultimate goal is to motivate girls to become innovative and creative thinkers ready to meet 21st century challenges.
We will be hosting our 25th annual Conference and Parent Resource Fair on March 1st on the campus of South Puget Sound Community College. The event registration fee is $12 which includes 3 workshops as well as a t-shirt, lunch, and goody bag. Scholarships are available.
