Thurston County 4H Groom Squad Demonstration, Dog Adoption

The annual “Groom Squad” demonstration is put on by the Thurston County 4-H dog club. Each year the 4-H youth demonstrate their dog grooming and handling skills by giving dogs from the Thurston County Humane Society some much-needed makeovers. The program successfully highlights these wonderful pets looking for new homes, and the Humane Society typically adopts out all of the Groom Squad dogs within 24 hours of the event.
