The Olympia Garden Club

Gathering begins around 9:00 AM with a social time and sales of plants or garden related items donated by members before the business meeting 10 AM.  For the program, club members Ellen Caywood and Tara Keen will guide us through creating a “Winter Sown” jug.  Certain annuals and perennials require cold stratification to successfully germinate.  We’ll learn how to create our own seed starts in a plastic jug to take home and watch sprout and grown over winter before planting in the spring.  Members bring their own lunch and beverage; coffee and tea are provided.
