LIVE. SATIRE. COMEDY. GAME SHOW.
Local stage favorites, Storyteller ELIZABETH LORD and Performer LAUREN O’NEILL team up to present the next new bi-monthly (every other month) variety show: The Bubble. Fantastical sound and lights by STRING AND SHADOW-Philip Alison and Donald Palardy.

The show focuses on Olympia, WA , “The Town” that is located in Washington, in the Pacific NW, in the United States, and comment on how all of us live inside our own “bubble,” one that can blind us to what is really going on, and blind us to our own foibles. What makes us uniquely Olympian? At a time when so many things “just aren’t funny,” this show is a breath of fresh air.

The HOLIDAY SPECIAL will offer a different sort of holiday entertainment. It will focus on all things December holiday related. Awkward family gatherings, bad presents, weird alternative non-traditional meals and guilt filled obligations.

Elizabeth and Lauren will show off their improv, storytelling, singing, and acting talent – utilizing humor and satire to help audiences laugh at their own ridiculousness.
A cross between: TV Game Show, A Prairie Home Companion, and Laugh-In.

SHOW #5 SPECIAL GUEST: Marlo Winter
Each show features a “Show and Tell” segment with a special guest highlighting their talent. December’s special guest is Marlo Winter.
Marlo Winter is a longtime local professional Aerial artist with the Airbound Underground which produces monthy aerial arts shows at the Brotherhood Lounge. She is a member of Airbound Arts and teaches aerial arts classes to all ages. She is a multi-talented performer who works the trapeze, silks, and rope as well as clowning: performing as character Eda Begadix. A veteran of Burning Man gatherings, she has seen and collected many things. December 15th she will share her talent and obsessions.
