Sustainable September: Stitch It Don’t Ditch It Mending Circles!

Repair is a radical act of care! Bring a project, join a community project or learn a new skill with Olympia Farmers Market “Stitch It, Don’t Ditch It Series”: from Market open to close (10am-3pm) each Friday in September, receive expert mending insight and access simple hand tools and scraps  (feel free to bring more for the share pile!). Each Friday from noon to one there will be a specialized demonstration: First Friday enjoy a Mending 101, second Friday a Darning 101, third Friday learn how to repair leather, and final Friday learn how to mend denim. After all: there’s nothing broken we aren’t capable of fixing together.
