12 Angry Men is a gripping examination of a diverse group of twelve jurors (male and female, mostly middle-aged, white and generally of middle-class status) who are uncomfortably brought together to deliberate after hearing the ‘facts” in a seemingly open-and-shut murder trial. As the twelve try to reach a unanimous decision while sequestered in a room, one juror casts considerable doubt on elements of the case. Personal issues rise to the surface, and the conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide the fate of a 19-year-old man from the slums.
