Join us for an evening with Josephine Ensign, author of “Skid Road: On the Frontier of Health and Homelessness in Seattle,” a WA State Book Award Finalist. A reading will be followed by a moderated discussion and audience Q&A.

Josephine Ensign is a Professor of Nursing at the UW School of Nursing and her work focuses on health and social inequities for people marginalized by poverty and homelessness. Ensign is the author of other books including “Catching Homelessness: A Nurse’s Story of Falling Through the Safety Net.”
